Surf Life Saving NSW

Surf Life Saving NSW (SLSNSW) is the peak water safety, drowning prevention and rescue organisation in NSW with over 110 years of history. SLSNSW is one of the largest volunteer movements in Australia with the core mission to save lives, create great Australians and build better communities.

Surf Life Saving Services (SLSS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SLSNSW whose aim is to generate funds through commercial operations to assist SLSNSW in achieving its key objectives. SLSS pursues commercial operations in a manner which upholds and supports the core lifesaving principles and values of Surf Life Saving.

SLSNSW is also Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID: 90394) which offers Nationally Recognised First Aid Training, covering all your First Aid accreditation requirements.

By completing First Aid training and purchasing your First Aid and AED equipment requirements from SLSNSW you can be assured that all revenue raised will go directly back to supporting the Surf Life Saving movement.   These funds are also directed into many community education projects such as surf survival skills for school children.

  • Onsite AED Familiarisation Instruction Service: SLSNSW will send a qualified Academy Trainer out to the Sports Club chosen venue to run a face to face AED demonstration and information session. The AED demonstration will run for approximately 1 hour and our trainer will set up the AED (if Club has not yet done so), run through a demonstration and answer any questions the Sports Club has about using a AED.
