The Sydney Cup - February 2017

Sydney International Shooting Centre is proud to host the inaugural Sydney Cup, as part of the Shooting Australia Performance Series.

The Shooting Australia Performance Series is a program of competition events run by our member bodies and their associated Clubs, endorsed by Shooting Australia.  Participation in the Shooting Australia Performance Series indicates that an event meets Shooting Australia’s standards regarding format, officiating and recognition of outcomes.

Events that are a part of the Shooting Australia Performance Series will count towards nomination and selection for Shooting Australia squads and teams, as well as towards certification requirements for officials and volunteers. The Shooting Australia Performance Series will culminate in the Shooting Australia Open. This, the pinnacle event of the Australian sports shooting calendar, will be a festive celebration of our sport for all to attend.

Booking terms and conditions
  1. All Australian competitors must be a current member of a Shooting Australia Member Body.
  2. Any International competitors must provide confirmation of affiliation with their relevant National permits with the relevant Australian Authorities prior to arrival in Australia.
  3. All Australian competitors must present a current Firearms License or Permit to the Sydney International on arrival each day.
    (If your state does not have a licencing or permit system, then you must apply to the NSW Firearms Registry for a Commissioners Permit)
  4. Finals require a minimum of three athletes to take place.
  5. Competitors should be aware of the Code of Conduct published on the Shooting Australia website. Breaches of the code will result in disqualification and the score recorded as zero.
  6. The program may be changed at the discretion of Sydney International Shooting Centre Committee or Technical Delegate if operational requirements dictate. Please note that this event will have ISSF qualified personnel in attendance.
  7. Those athletes who are eligible and qualify for the final of these events, but who do not compete in such final (and for whatever reason) may receive a score of zero for the entire competition. This reduction in score will be enforced except where such failure to compete in the final is as a result of extenuating circumstances, as approved from time to time Technical Delegate at its sole discretion.
  8. Compliance with ACTA, PA and TRA dress codes in regard to clothing will be enforced, copies of these can be found on the Shooting Australia website.
  9. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Sydney International Shooting Centre. A $25 late entry fee applies per match.
  10. Refunds will not be given for partial or no attendance. Please ensure you arrive on time to your scheduled match to avoid forfeiting your fee.
  11. Cancellations must be made with no less than five business days’ notice to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations must be received in writing to Cancellations incur a $25 administration fee.
  12. You may transfer to another scheduled Sydney Cup Competition with more than five days’ notice at no additional fee. Transfers within 5 days of the Competition incur a $25 administration fee.
