Get active at Lake Burrendong Open Day

The Central West and Western Plains communities are invited to a free Open Day at Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre next Sunday, 18 February.

The Open Day will feature a range of activities, including Centre programs and local sporting and activity providers as well as food and picnic options.

Activities will include rugby league, cricket, rugby union, archery, karting, PCYC ninja course, Traditional Indigenous Games and a slip and slide for kids.

There will also be information on Office of Sport programs, venues and events, including the Duke of Edinburgh International Award.

Throughout the day staff will provide tours of the site, showcasing the accommodation and facilities available at the Centre.

Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre is located at 205 Tara Road
Mumbil NSW 2820. The Open Day will be held from 9am-3pm with activities scheduled throughout the day.

“Lake Burrendong Sport and Recreation Centre has been serving the Central West and Western Plains communities for almost 50 years.

“The Open Day on Sunday, February 18 is a chance for people of all ages and abilities to come together and experience what the Centre has to offer or just reminisce about their time at the Centre.

“Our team can’t wait to host the community and I encourage everyone to come along for a day of fun, fitness and entertainment.
