Dragon boating team building day at Sydney International Regatta Centre

Dragon boats are human powered boats that slice through the top of the water at great speeds. Much like a corporate team, if one member isn’t pulling their weight then the ultimate goal (to reach the end of the lake) isn’t achieved.  Dragon boating is not only a great challenge and an effective way to incorporate team building into your conference, it’s also loads of fun.

Looking to add a physical activity to your next meeting or conference? Just want a day out of the office? How about Dragon Boating? Alongside members of the local Pendragons Dragon Boat Club who will run you through the basics, we can have you paddling down towards the finish line in no time!

Start the day with your meeting in one of our conference rooms, then prepare for some fun, or skip the meeting and go straight on the water.

Lakeside Restaurant is also on hand ready to feed your team anything from morning / afternoon tea, to a full lunch, all in the one venue.

Packages start from a single boat activity for up to 20 people, to multiple boats where you can race the opposition to the finish line on the Olympic Competition Lake!

This rapidly growing sport is fun and motivating and relies on everyone in the boat to work together toward a common goal, turning individuals into teams.

Available on non-event days and subject to instructor availability, book in early.

Contact the events team at regatta@sport.nsw.gov.au with your numbers and room / catering requirements and we'll be in touch!
