The Office of Sport, under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, is required to make government information available to the public unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure. Open access information includes a range of information held by agencies, such as policy documents, annual reports, guidelines and a register of government contracts. It doesn’t include personal details, commercial-in-confidence information and information that could jeopardise public safety or law enforcement.
