Intro to Kayaking

Never kayaked before and would like to give it a try? Our Intro to Kayaking course takes place on our flatwater lake and offers you a relaxed introduction to kayaking, which will hopefully “wet” your appetite for a whole lot more!

Level 1 & 2 Quickstart

Would you like to become a whitewater paddler & are ready to take the plunge? The Level 1 course begins on flatwater and progresses towards basic whitewater. The Level 2 course continues to build on the skills to conquer our Grade 3 whitewater course. Each level is run on a weekend. Weekends do not have to be consecutive.

We strongly recommend completing the Level 1 Quickstart first.

Minimum age: 10 years

Duration: 4 days (6 hours each day)

Experience (Level 1): Previous kayaking experience is very desirable

Experience (Level 2): Completed Level 1 Quickstart OR have paddled grade 2 whitewater in the last year and can roll consistently on flatwater

Adventure level: Moderate to high

Price: $900.00 per person (or $450.00 per person/per level)

Level 3 Whitewater

Looking to consolidate your whitewater paddling skills and build your confidence? The Level 3 course concentrates on developing you into the ultimate whitewater kayaker!

Minimum age: 10 years

Duration: 1 day (6 hours)

Experience: Completed the Level 2 Quickstart course OR have kayaked on Grade 3 whitewater in the last year. The ability to roll is highly recommended.

Adventure level: High

Price: $300.00 per person

During a private kayak instruction, we will work with you to determine how best to meet your specific needs. This may include one-on-one instruction, with your own small group, or instruction in an area not covered by one of our group instruction courses.

Minimum age: 8 years on flatwater, 10 years on whitewater

Duration: 2 hours

Experience: No experience necessary

Adventure level: Low to High. We recommend you be physically fit and be confident in the water

Price: $350.00 (maximum of 6 people for flatwater, and 4 for whitewater)

Looking for a fun and challenging activity with your friends or work team? We offer specialised kayak instruction for big groups on our flatwater lake. Learn new skills, play fun activities with your friends, and push yourself outside of your comfort zone under the watch of our friendly team of kayak instructors.

A minimum of 6 people are required to confirm a group kayak instruction.

Combine a group kayak instruction with a whitewater rafting trip for an action-packed day out with your team!
