Slalom Training

Penrith Whitewater Stadium was purpose built as the competition venue for the Canoe and Kayak Slalom events during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The venue has now been confirmed as the competition venue for the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships.

Penrith Whitewater Stadium offers exclusive training sessions for local, interstate and international canoe slalom paddlers who are Grade 3 whitewater competent.

Open Slalom Training

Minimum Age: 12 years

Duration: 1 hour

Experience: Grade 3 competent

Price: $40.00 per person

 Bookings are essential and can be made online. A minimum of 20 paddlers are required to confirm an Open Slalom Training session.

2024 open training sessions

During January and February in the lead up to the Oceania Championships and the Australian Open in 2024, there will be open training session available.
