Venue Hours
Venue operating hours for recreation outside of event days are 06:30 gates open, and 19:30 gates close, with last entry to the venue (including the walking and cycle paths) at 18:30.
The office is open for enquiries and bookings between 06:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
During non-daylight savings (commencing Sunday 6 April, 2025) operating hours outside of event days are 06:30 gates open, and 17:00 venue close, with last entry to the venue at 16:00.
Parking
On non-event days, all public parking is free in the P3 carpark. Once you enter Gate A, turn right at the entry screen and park in marked bays to then access the walking and cycle paths.
Access to parking on the Island is restricted to events, training and restaurant bookings only, and a pre-issued access code is required to pass through the boom gates.
At no time are vehicles permitted to be driven on the paths, or grassed areas.
During some events a parking fee is payable at the gate on arrival via Eftpos.
On Water Training
No access to the water is permitted without a confirmed prior booking, and all bookings require 72 hours notice.
Bookings for on water training are subject to availability / other event requirements. To make a booking you can call 02 4730 0000 during business hours or e-mail regatta@sport.nsw.gov.au for a booking form.
