Daily opening hours
On non-event days, we are open for recreation from 6:30am - 7:30pm with last entry at 6:30pm daily. The venue is closed for recreation on event days. See full venue availability and event information on our 'What's on' page.
What's on
As a multi-purpose venue, we host a diverse range of events and activities including rowing, sprint canoe/kayak, dragon boating, triathlon, running, swimming, cycling, model car, boat, plane, festivals and more all year round.
Stage an event
We are one of Australia’s premier sporting and festival events destinations. Our world-class facilities are home to national and international regattas, sporting events, triathlons, trade shows and community festivals.
Corporate events
We have a range of facilities that make us an ideal venue for corporate events. Our events team can coordinate on-site team building activities such as Dragon Boating, Sailing, Jetpack Adventures or Whitewater Rafting.
Private functions
Our picturesque scenery and diverse facilities make us an ideal venue for private functions ranging from glamorous weddings to casual bbq gatherings.
Film and photography
Set on 178 hectares of native bush, parklands and lakes, we offer a number of unique locations. We are a popular location for a variety of film and photography shoots such as film and television productions, advertisements and fashion shoots.
Lakeside Restaurant
Lakeside Restaurant is located on site behind the main grandstand on the Island and opens for dining on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights and weekend brunch (pending events).
A kiosk also operates on weekends and during events.

Regular activities and events
With a diverse range of events and activities on offer, there’s always something to do at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. Choose from weekly fun runs and cycling clubs to model boat races, jetpack adventures, sailing and radio-controlled nitro car racing.
Sport and recreation facilities
We have a range of facilities for both casual recreation and sports training that are available to the general public on non-event days. Enjoy casual cycling, walking or running around the picturesque lakes or book the lakes for on water activities.
