Casual shooting
Sydney International Shooting Centre is open to all shooters who hold a valid firearms licence. You’re welcome to visit and shoot casually on our pistol, rifle or shotgun ranges.
All firearms and ammunition used onsite need to comply with the requirements set out in the Sydney International Shooting Centre Range Approval.
Pistol and rifle shooting
The Pistol and Rifle ranges comprise of three indoor ranges over 10m, 25m and 50m distances for ISSF matches. Each range is equipped with SIUS AG electronic targeting systems to allow for precision and instance scoring.
In addition, there is one 25m paper Turning Target Range for higher calibre pistols up to .45 calibre.
Session times: (Tuesday – Sunday)
Full day: 9am - 4:45 pm
Morning: 9am - 1:00 pm
Afternoon: 1pm - 4:45 pm
Night: 5pm - 9:45 pm (Wednesday & Fridays only)
Session fee: $25.00
Full day fee: $35.00
To guarantee your place, prebook online. Walk in bookings are welcome, however range availability cannot be guaranteed.
Shotgun shooting
The Shotgun range contains 11 outdoor multi-discipline clay target layouts that be set for competitions and practice.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, shooters entering a shotgun layout must first complete a safety induction with a SISC staff member.
Session times:
10am - 4:45pm - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
5pm – 9:45pm - Wednesday and Friday nights
Cost: $16.50 for 25 clay targets
Firearm hire
Pistol and rifle firearms: $30.00 per session
Shotgun firearms: $15.00 per 25 clay targets
- Ammunition, session fees and clay targets not included
- Availability of firearms cannot be guaranteed.
Ballistic testing facility
Want to improve your consistency and precision during competition?
Licensed shooters can book a 60‑minute ballistic testing session to check the accuracy of their ammunition. You can test .22 to .38 calibre pistols - including 9mm and .22 calibre rifles using your own ammunition.
Our ballistic test facility is a fully enclosed indoor tunnel, so weather conditions won’t affect your firearm readings.
Weekdays: 12pm – 4pm (Excluding Mondays and public holidays)
Cost: $68.00 per person, per 60-minute session
