Self-Guided Journeys – Broken Bay facility hire
Our newest offering for Adventurous Journey has been exclusively designed by the Duke of Ed NSW Team in collaboration with the experienced staff at Broken Bay. Our self-guided AJ experiences offer access to one of NSW’s most breathtaking and unique locations—complete with all the elements of a traditional AJ.
Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre is perfectly situated just an hour from both Sydney Metro and the Hunter Region. Nestled within 650 hectares of pristine bushland, the centre is framed by secluded headlands and stunning beaches. Enjoy panoramic views of the iconic Barrenjoey Lighthouse, Lion Island, and the dramatic sandstone cliffs of the Hawkesbury River.
The site is rich in native wildlife and features Gold, Silver, and Bronze bushwalking tracks, campsites, beaches, water access, and hidden gems waiting to be discovered. It’s the ideal setting for young people to challenge themselves, connect with nature, and create unforgettable memories.
