Koori Netball Tournament

2021 Koori Netball Tournament cancelled

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions in place across NSW the Office of Sport, in consultation with Charlestown Netball Association and Netball NSW, has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Koori Netball Tournament, due to be played on 30-31 October 2021.

Ensuring the health and well-being of our participants, volunteers, partners, community, and staff is our primary concern.

We appreciate the significant effort that goes into participating in the Koori Netball Tournament – from bringing teams together, training, planning travel and uniforms and celebrating our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture at the event.

We have made this decision as early as possible to provide certainty to everyone planning to be involved.

While we were looking forward to hosting the event following our 2020 cancellation, we believe this is the most appropriate decision as we all work to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 community transmission.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Office of Sport.
