Regional Delivery
Sport and active recreation brings people together and contributes to a stronger, healthier and more inclusive NSW. Each year sport and active recreation contributes around $10 billion to the NSW gross state product, employs 30,000+ people and attracts over 3.5 million people to the state.
Our regional teams are committed using sport and active recreation to create healthier people, connect communities, making a stronger NSW. This means working closely with a range of partners to achieve six major outcomes:
- Increase participation
- Improved access
- Integrated performance pathways
- Fit for purpose facilities
- Valued regional sporting events
- Effective collaboration
