Penrith Whitewater Stadium was purpose built as the competition venue for the Canoe and Kayak Slalom events during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The venue has now been confirmed as the competition venue for the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships.
Penrith Whitewater Stadium offers exclusive training sessions for local, interstate and international canoe slalom paddlers who are Grade 3 whitewater competent.
FIRST TIME PADDLING AT PWS?
First time paddlers at PWS will be required to undertake a competency assessment before accessing the whitewater. All paddling sessions at PWS are under the supervision of our Activities Instructors.
OPEN SLALOM TRAINING
Minimum Age: 10 years
Duration: 1 hour
Experience: Grade 3 competent
Price: $40.00 per person
Bookings are essential and can be made online. To operate an Open Slalom Training session, a minimum of 20 people must be registered for the session to proceed.
