Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre is located one hour north of Sydney on the magnificent Hawkesbury River and is accessible only via boat.

COVID-19 UPDATE

With restrictions easing from Monday 11 October for fully vaccinated people, the Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre will be accepting group bookings in compliance with the Public Health Order for non-residential activities.

For outdoor activities, groups will be limited to a maximum of 20 fully vaccinated adults (or children under 16). For bookings using indoor facilities groups will be limited to a maximum 30 fully vaccinated people (or children under 16 accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult).

In compliance with our COVID-19 Safety Plan requirements, all visitors must check in via the Service NSW QR Code and must be able to produce evidence of vaccination or an exemption to staff if requested.

The Centre provides a range of facilities and accommodation for school camps, kids’ and youth camps, sporting events, fishing adventures, community groups, music festivals and more. It is nestled on 650 hectares of unspoilt bushland between isolated headlands and the beach, with spectacular views of the iconic Barrenjoey Lighthouse, Lion Island and rugged sandstone cliffs lining the River. Abundant in native wildlife and bushwalking tracks, it hosts the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award programs.
