Bushfire update - Sport and Recreation Centres and Venues

The bushfire crisis has had a huge impact on communities across NSW, in particular those in our south. Team members at our Jindabyne, Berry and Borambola Sport and Recreation Centres and Southern Highlands Regional Shooting Complex are contributing members of these communities. Their families and properties have been challenged by the conditions and they have witnessed the best aspects of their communities pulling together to help one another.

OPERATIONAL UPDATE

  

Berry Sport and Recreation Centre

 

Berry Sport and Recreation Centre is currently open and supporting the Disaster Welfare Assistance team by providing beds to those impacted by the bushfires. If you require crisis accommodation, please contact them on 1300 306 548.

 

The Berry Centre has and continues to be available to emergency services teams for accommodation throughout the crisis.

 

Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre

 

Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre is currently closed for routine maintenance, but available to emergency services teams for accommodation.


Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre

 

It is anticipated that the Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre will reopen as planned on 9 January weather permitting. If this situation worsens we will communicate directly with guests who have a current booking.  

The Jindabyne Centre has and continues to be available to emergency services teams for accommodation throughout the crisis. 

 

Southern Highlands Regional Shooting Complex

The Southern Highlands Regional Shooting Complex is currently closed. Fire has damaged the Complex and it is currently being assessed to determine remediation necessary to safely reopen.
