Safe and fair clubs

Sport should be an enjoyable and positive experience for all, including participants, workers, volunteers and supporters.

Poor experiences, such as bullying, sideline abuse, exclusion or having a complaint mismanaged, can have a lasting impact on individuals and your club.

Club committees need to be proactive, building club values, culture, rules, education and communication that promote fairness, safety and inclusion. Despite the best laid plans, issues will arise. And when they do, make sure your clubs manages matters swiftly, transparently and fairly.
